Argentinian indicted in plan to use fake military ID cards

A man from Argentina was indicted Wednesday in San Antonio on four federal charges of fraud with fake military identification cards.

, 42, first was arrested in August by San Antonio police after witnesses reported that he had a handful of fake military ID cards and uniforms that he planned to use to illegally re enter the United States because he was facing deportation over credit card fraud charges in Florida.

Achaval, Best Fake ID websites court records said, put together at least four different ID cards for himself, listing military ranks he did not hold, such as lieutenant colonel with the .

It was unclear Thursday if Achaval accessed any military bases or sensitive information, Best Fake IDs but records show federal counterintelligence agents are investigating.

Court records show Achaval had previously identified himself as a corporate lawyer during immigration proceedings. He was in custody for overstaying his visa but was released on bond on Oct. 6, 2010, fake ids after Argentina would not issue him travel documents so he could return there.
